• Upcoming Events: Cruise over to the Rincon Invitational this weekend (March 18-19) at 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Rincon Point Rd, Carpinteria, 93013. This year the event will celebrate and honor the life of Sophia Bartlow, U.S. Women’s Surfing and SUP Champion. All net proceeds will go to the Sophia Bartlow Scholarship. The Surfrider Foundation Advisory Board will organize a Memorial Vigil at Rincon, 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 19.

• Celebrate WORLD WATER DAY on Wednesday, March 22 with a special benefit screening of "It Ain't Pretty," a new documentary that celebrates female surfers on a mission to break the big wave ceiling. Following the screening will be a Q&A panel with local female big wave chargers! 6:00 pm – 12:00 am, The Bungalow Santa Monica, 101 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, 90401 .
